The Homing Pigeons by Sid Bihari : Read-along Discussion 1

. .
How have you been guys?
As you all know yesterday was the day for the First discussion post and our very sweet and amazing blogger Nimi @ The Readers Cosmos have conducted a very interesting discussion. Please do check it out first HERE.

Nimi @ The Readers Cosmos discussed from page 1-105.
She rightly explained the main characters Aditya, Radhika and Divya.

Moving on to her Questions and Discussions from Nimi @ The Readers Cosmos :

Her Q1: Is it right for the independent women of today like Divya to hire a male prostitute? (this was never a question that I had but since many readers posed it, I thought of addressing it in my style)

My answer: I agree with Nimi's answer. Yes women can do that, she had her reasons, but is it right? Well there is hardly a way to describe what is right and wrong. Every situation has two sides, from her side, she was right in a very unconventional way. From society's view.. Well that doesn't really matter because they are always there to fault you.

Her Q2: Why did Radhika marry a rich man she didn't love?

My answer: Divya is a girl with two families and she couldn't call either of them her real family. They thought of her as burden, and Aditya, the love of his life, well is a different story. It breaks my heart to say this but she had to marry that very rich man she never came to fall in love with.

Moving on Nimi discussed Likes and Dislikes from the story.  I'll sharme  mine on our next discussion post i.e. on 10th July, here on my blog. Do not forget to stop here. And we will wrap up the read-along on 15th with Sarika and Jhanvi  The Readdicts.

I hope you are having a great time with us. Please do post your thoughts about the pages you read over Nimi's discussion post.

You don't need to be a blogger to join. Everyone is invited.

Happy reading!
keep rocking!

My Photo

I like to keep things Sweet & Tangy sometimes bitter & strong, I write when words rhymes with my emotions. I firmly believe that the pen is mightier than the sword and can make a change in the society ergo my words always aim for that.

An engineer who is occasionally published in Newspapers (INT) and anthologies, curious soul that is eternally filling the bucket of knowledge. Bibliophile who loves reading all the time. An ordinary girl that loves science and art, blogging, different languages, fancy cooking, travelling and flying (hopefully someday with real wings). Believes in humanity & spreading smiles.
